Supervision: Research

There has been an increasing demand for supervision for small research projects from psychologists wishing to demonstrate they have undertaken research as part of the chartership process. We offer a supervision service to coaching psychologists wishing to attend 1-to-1 research supervision meetings.

The supervisees should have attended suitable training to practise in their field and undertake research as our supervision is not about training a psychologist in the basics of research methodology or statistics.

Our supervisors are at doctoral level and have supervised PhD students and have been PhD examiners. They are ISCP Accredited Coaching Psychology Supervisors, Chartered Coaching Psychologists, Chartered Scientists, and are on the BPS Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS).

Visit the General Supervision webpage regarding supervision at the NACP.

Contracting is usually for 5, one-hour sessions, renewable if mutually agreed. The fee is £175 per hour.

If you are interested in the research supervision, please email the office and provide your CV and a short outline of your proposed research project. This may enable us to determine if we can provide a supervisor for your particular project.

The Open University: OpenLearn
